Good food. Atmosphere needs some help.(music?) Excellent altho small portions. Love the grilled chicken sandwich. Needs to keep drinks filled. Nice people.

Friendly service, great burritos and margaritas 👍. One of my wife and my favorite restaurants.

Cash only, so be prepared. This little gem in Dixon really hits the spot. We got an order of steak fajitas and a carne assada burrito, which included a side of rice and refried beans served first as an appetizer. The family running the place is very nice and friendly, plus their homemade salsas are to die for. We asked for something spicier than the delicious salsas served with the chips and they quickly returned with two different habanero salsas. It doesn't get better than this.

This is one of my top five favorite places to eat EVER. I love the family pictures, the staff (who are ALWAYS super friendly) and the laid back environment. The food's delicious, and the drinks are well worth the price. I love it :D

The worst Mexican food ever. We live in Chicago where authentic Mexican food is on every corner. I ordered the bean burrito which had meat.. who does that and doesn't put that in the description in the menu? The chips were stale and the margarita was way too sweet. The tacos that my husband ordered--he said he could make better at home. Worst of all, Parmesan cheese on guacamole? Seriously--never heard of such a thing. It was horrible. We paid $40 but left our food bc it wasn't worth it. Very disappointing to say the least. The only positive was the server who was very attentive and sweet. Highly NOT recommended.

The food was very bland. The salsa was also very bland - even the nacho chips were meh.

We come over from Rock Falls probably 3-4 times a month. Love their food. Service is fast and friendly. Most of the time the waitress comes with our drinks before we even order and she says "your regular?" Love the food. It's always hot and very fresh.

Sorry but this was one of the worst meals we've had. Were surprised to find they had been in business 17-years..

An authentic Mexican restaurant with good service, great food, and a friendly staff. We arrived only an hour before they closed and they welcomed us warmly. My fajita salad was wonderful, almost too much, and spiced just right.. Loved it.

Very cute place, food was very expensive for such little portions. The bean burrito had nearly no beans and the tacos were so small. The only nice thing about this place was the decor and staff. I don’t recommend coming here if you’re hungry....

I love their food. Much more authentic than most Mexican restaurants. Wait staff can be slow, but makes it even more like Mexico. Food comes fast once you get your order taken.

My mom lives in Dixon and every time I go visit her, we try to go for a lunch or dinner. Their food can be addicting! I love their nachos! The service is always wonderful!

Place is clean. Wait staff are very nice waited and quick less than five minutes for a take out order that I ordered there.

This is not authentic Mexican cuisine the food does taste OK but if you're looking for authentic Mexican cuisine this is not it.

Food is just okay. Very bland, kind of overcooked. I came instead of my usual venture to Sterling for Dairy Mart or Willy's... was super disappointed in flavor.The servers were very nice but food wasn't anything special. Prices are a little high as well. Average plate is $10 but they have lunch specials..

Queso fundito appetizer was great. Four flavors of margaritas (strawberry, peach, mango and traditional lime). Food and server were good, but would have liked someone to offer if we wanted anything else before just dropping the check at the table.

Yummy enchiladas!

The food was mediocre at best. Hardly any meat on the tacos and if you order enchiladas prepare for a block of unmelted cheese in a tasteless tortilla. We will definitely not be going back the service wasn't very good either.
